We are on call to provide rapid response and quality service to all clients. These include all shipping companies, agents and marine companies operating in the Great Lakes. We are recognized for in-water surveys by Lloyd's Register; D.N.V. (Det Norske Veritas); Germanischer Lloyd's (G.L.), and A.B.S. (American Bureau of Shipping).
Soderholm provides divers for the routine and emergency service of municipal and industrial water intakes and outfalls. We install underwater pipelines and cable layings as Marine Contractors and Diving Contractors.
Underwater Search and Recovery
Our preparedness and call out protocols provide invaluable assistance to Police and Fire Departments for the recovery of vehicles, evidence and casualties. We are retained under standing orders and respond when called.
Construction and Industrial Service
We provide underwater inspection and repair services for construction and industrial projects such as: bridges, hydro-electric dams, seawalls, wet wells and pipelines.
Zebra Mussel Control
Soderholm Maritime supply divers for the cleaning of underwater structures for the installation of permanent or temporary zebra mussel control systems.
Underwater Cutting and Welding
We provide personnel and equipment for underwater cutting and certified underwater welding ("Class B": all positions) to Canadian Welding Bureau and American Welding Society standards.
Diving Inspections
Our personnel carry out diving inspections to determine and document existing conditions. We write our own reports and also work with consulting engineers. We inspect all manner of underwater structures and installations.
We provide a 24 hour, 365 day on call service to all clients. All divers have cellular phones and pagers. A diving team can be dispatched literally within minutes of the initial phone call.

of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario
